Where our olive oil is sold
The local butcher, Gerald Hatzakortzian and his son sell our oil in their excellent shop.
Our oil is also sold in England, at Sandy Lane Farm, near Oxford which has a weekly market on Saturdays.
We are also partners with and advertise our Gîte through Bienvenue à la Ferme.
Liz Garforth-Bles runs an excellent “Bed and Breakfast” at Lower Moor Farm not far from the Cotswold town of Malmesbury in England.

AFIDOL: Association Francaise Interprofessionnelle de l’Olive is the controlling body for olive oil growers, based in Aix-en-Provence.
There is a local association of olive growers in the Var, GOV – Le Groupement des Oleiculteurs Varois, based now in Brignoles not far from us. This is where we take olive oil tasting courses, participate in olive oil tasting Concours, and do all manner of courses to learn about growing olives and the culture and history of olives in France.
The local “Min of Ag” office, la Chambre d’Agriculture du Var, is at Vidauban, an hour away. Here, the person specialising in olive trees and truffles is hugely informative and helpful.
Internationally, the Conseil Oleicole International in Madrid is the only inter-governmental organisation in the world which brings together all olive oil producers and consumers. Their site is well put together and contains a mass of data in English, especially on the health benefits of olive oil.
PCE Instruments is a leader in the production of high quality technical precision instruments for weighing, control, line processes, and laboratory use, with a huge catalogue of products. We use a PCE Instruments weigh plate to weigh the olives and oil in our mill.
“Natura 2000” is a European initiative to improve regional ecology and the environment which has been adopted by the French Government in the Var, and our village is also inside the recently created “Parc Regional Naturel de la Sainte Baume“.
